Pension Fund for police Dept.

I sit on a pension board for the local, Police Dept, We would like to buy an annuity for the fixed rate, can we name the pension fund as owner and annuiant to the contract? This is only 20% of the fund.

It would be misleading to name the fund on the annuity if it is only 20% of the fund. Having said that, you can name it whatever you want but your constituents will not be happy when they find out the truth.
