Ira 72t I am 60 with about $470,000 in my IRA in an annuity. I want to split my IRA and move the required amount I need to complete my 72T into an IRA at my credit union, The balance I want to move to another annuity. I will keep the EXACT same payment that I was required when I started my 72t. The credit union will report my payment as a 72t. So I will have the same payment for 5 years paid through age 591/2. But I will end up with two IRA's. My advisior says this is okay since the calculation was based on where I started 3 years ago. Is this correct? |
